Music Marketing #1
Our study on country music marketing concentrated on the various marketing techniques used by musicians such as Nate Smith. Country music marketing has changed, combining new digital technologies with traditional methods. We examined how musicians expand their fan bases and reach through live performances, radio, streaming services, and social media.
Nate Smith interacts with fans on social media sites like Instagram and TikTok to produce viral content. Country radio keeps promoting him, and streaming platforms like Spotify aid in the worldwide distribution of his music. Another important component is live appearances, which provide Smith the chance to interact with fans personally and increase record sales.
We discovered through this study how country music marketing has changed as a result of trends like TikTok, personal branding, and international streaming. Artists of today use both modern and traditional techniques to succeed in a field that continues to change quickly.
For the planning process of our music marketing project, we choose to bring the country genre to teenagers. We came up with this idea since we are current teenager and its something that is not seen very often. Also, we decided on what each member was going to work in in order to be able to achieve all the requirements in the limited time. Our main goal of our planning process was fro each member to be clear on what our ideas were and how we were going to achieve them.
